The Japanese Ratsnake is a docile, medium-sized constrictor native to Japan and East Asia, prized for its calm temperament and manageable care requirements. This albino morph displays striking white and yellow coloration, making it visually distinctive. They typically reach 3–4 feet in adulthood, though some individuals may grow slightly larger. Provide a 40-gallon breeder tank or larger with secure enclosure, maintaining temperatures of 72–82°F with a warm basking spot around 85°F. Use aspen, cypress mulch, or coconut husk substrate to retain moderate humidity. Feed appropriately-sized frozen-thawed mice every 7–10 days; juveniles may require more frequent feeding.
