Neoholothele incei 'Gold', commonly known as the Trinidadian Olive 'Gold', is a stunning small tarantula prized for its rich golden coloration and docile temperament. Native to Trinidad and Tobago, this species is ideal for both beginners and experienced keepers.
Care Requirements: House in a 5-gallon enclosure with 2–3 inches of substrate for burrowing. Maintain temperatures between 72–78°F and humidity around 65–75%. Provide a water dish and feed appropriately-sized insects (crickets, roaches) every 5–7 days for juveniles, less frequently for adults. This species is a prolific webber and will create extensive burrow systems.
Temperament & Handling: Generally docile and slow-moving, making them excellent display tarantulas. While not aggressive, they are delicate and best observed rather than frequently handled. Females can live 12+ years; males typically 3–4 years.
Perfect for keepers seeking a beautiful, low-maintenance species with striking coloration and interesting natural behaviors.
